Black Arrow is the name of the latest tuning package revealed by the German specialists from edo Competition. The Mercedes-McLaren SLR 722 is the “victim”, the German model receiving some fine improvements inspiring now more aggressiveness.
Straight to the details, the 5.5-liter unit develops 712 horsepower and 890 Nm of torque due to a new stainless steel exhaust system alongside a revised ECU and new air intakes. With such resources, it’s not surprising that the SLR 722 Black Arrow is now able to achieve a top speed of 345 km/h while the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is done in 3,4 seconds.
As we set the performance details, let’s switch to the aesthetic tweaks operated by the Germans, which however are not few! At the exterior you can notice the huge 21-inch alloy wheels together with the matte black paint and red stickers.
Inside, a new Alcantara upholstery is available but also some stylish carbon fiber trim and a new steering wheel. Edo Competition also claims that there is a new system available which include a Bluetooth/iPod connectivity and GPS navigation.
