The German specialists from MKB decided to create a new tuning kit for the current Mercedes GL, a package which is focused mainly on the performance of the SUV. Undoubtedly, the most important modification brought by MKB is the V12 conversion kit which transforms the German SUV into a real beast.
According to the tuning company, the customers interested in this package have to wait around six months and pay more than €215,000 as the conversion process requires a lot of time and money.
If the price of the tuning kit which, by the way, does not include the vehicle, is not frightening you, you might want to know that the total output of the MKB’s Mercedes GL is rated at 658 horsepower and 1,200 Nm of torque. With such resources, the SUV will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4,4 seconds and hit a top speed of 270 km/h.
“Until today Mercedes does not offer any AMG performance conversion for the GL-class. If someone looks for bigger driving pleasure with his big luxury SUV he may know the leading Mercedes performance tuning company MKB since long,” says the company.
