Ford announced official UK pricing for the new Transit Connect. The American van benefits from the 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine capable to return fuel economy numbers of 50,4mpg UK and CO2 emissions of 129 g/km.
A 1.6-liter diesel engine with ECOnetic technologies returns 70,6mpg UK and 105 g/km of CO2.

These figures are achieved mainly due to the Active Grille Shutter feature, start-stop system and more. The new Ford Transit Connect van will benefit from a normal and an extended wheelbase, known as L1 and L2.

The latter is capable to provide a new fold-flat seat feature, improving the loading height to 2 meters.

The new model benefits from the company’s Emergency Assistance system as well as Active City Stop.

The base model, the one powered by the 1.0-liter EcoBoost petrol unit starts at £13,921 in the UK.
