Don’t take this the wrong way, what I actually meant to say is that GM’s eco-box has left the factory and is headed for dealers.
In other words the 2011 Chevrolet Volt has almost begun customer delivery. Within a few days some happy owners will be driving their Volts.
Come to think of it, it does sound weird, but it’s still something to look out for. Once the 2011 Chevrolet Volt hits actual customers, real people like you and me, we can find out what it’s all about.
No longer will we have to wait for months for the EPA to give us a rating, no longer will we speak of controversial titles the 2011 Chevrolet Volt has won, so on and so forth.
I have to say, given the fact that GM only started production on the Volt early this month they seem to be moving along pretty fast given the new technology used for manufacturing the range extended EV.
Since GM started shipping out the Volts from the factory, it should be a matter of days before actual customers get their hands on the American EV and even when the first impressions crop up.
