The Italians from Fiat released new photos and details on the 2012MY Punto, a model which goes on sale in Europe in the coming days. To begin with, Fiat adds a new two-cylinder TwinAir engine offering 85 horsepower with a displacement of only 0,8 liters.
Other units in the range such as the 1.3-liter 85HP MultiJet 2 diesel receive the Intelligent Flow and Intelligent Alternator systems able to cut down the CO2 emissions to 90 g/km.
On the other hand, the 2012 Fiat Punto stands out through new exterior finishes such as Glam Rock Blue, Tip Tap Red and Blues Grey but also through new alloy wheels and body-colored bumpers.
“The Punto 2012 confirms the distinctive aspects that destined the previous editions for success in all the European markets – not only is it constantly the top-selling car in Italy, but nearly 8.5 million vehicles have been produced from 1993 until today,” adds the company.
Fiat also introduced a new “Energetico Green” exterior finish for the TwinAir models along a glossy black roof. Inside, Fiat offers new fabric seats, revised trim and materials.
