Lexus set out with the CT200h to undo the bad image of hybrids, the cheap image of hatchbacks and basically offer the perfect car.
Since they didn’t do “that” well in the reviews and not a lot of people are interested in it, the Japanese luxury brand is trying to improve it in order to get to that point.
Part of the 2012 Lexus CT200h’s improvement plan is the U.S. only (for now) F Sport package the company just announced.
Originally unveiled in Australia, the 2012 Lexus CT200h F Sport is not a very sporty package, it’s just the more and more popular sporty appearance situation.
The F Sport package is made up of 17 inch wheels, a mesh front grille, aluminum sport pedals and metallic dash trim bits.
Inside the 2012 Lexus CT200h F-Sport there’s a leather steering wheel, shift knob, Black NuLuxe or perforated black leather on the seats.
Since this is a brand new U.S. launch scheduled for launch in 2012, there’s a mandatory Vehicle Proximity Notification System which does away with the very pleasant silence of the hybrid engine.
Also, Lexus offers the 2012 CT200h with a F Sport a new exterior color, Nebula Gray Pearl instead of a new Smoky Granite Mica.
I’d still recommend the Ultrasonic Blue finish we see here which seems to go well with all “special” Lexus models.
