The Japanese carmaker decided to reveal the 2012 model year IS F, the Euro-spec model to be more precise. With a starting price of €70,600, the new sports sedan promises enhanced performance mainly thanks to a new chassis. But before that, we should talk a bit about the engine range that will be available for the 2012 Lexus IS F.
The Japanese company operated no modifications comparing to the 2011 model year and offers the same unit under the bonnet, a 5.0-liter V8 engine able to deliver 423 horsepower and 505 Nm of torque.
These resources are good enough for an acceleration time of 4,7 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 270 km/h. Back to the significant upgrades, Lexus claims that there will be a retuned chassis able to improve the comfort and deliver a better driving experience. This will be possible mainly thanks to the larger stabilizer bars, new shock absorbers and reworked spring rates.
On the other hand, the appearance is improved by a richer options list featuring new 19-inch BBS alloy wheels at the exterior along black and crimson leather and sport seats for the cabin.
