The new generation Mercedes B-Class is scheduled to debut in front of the audience at the Frankfurt Auto Show, the German company revealing today more photos for the small MPV model. In terms of dimensions, the new B-Class now slightly larger with a length of 4,3 meters, a height of 1,7 meters and improved passenger and luggage space.
According to the official details, the new Mercedes B-Class will be available with a 1.6-liter unit developing 122 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque but also with a more powerful version of the same engine delivering 156 horses and 250 Nm of torque.
A 1.8-liter turbo diesel is available too in two power versions with 109 horses and 250 Nm of torque but also with 136 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque.
Besides the standard six-speed manual transmission, Mercedes introduced the seven-speed dual clutch gearbox known as 7G-DCT.
A sports suspension able to lower the ground clearance is available too while the customers will be able to choose from a total of four equipment packages. To be more precise, Mercedes offer the Chrome, Sports, Exclusive and Night packages along rich option list and additional features.
