We received the first serious signals from the new German supercar back in October, last year, when Mercedes was testing the new model in Death Valley. At that time we had the first touch with the new Magic Sky Control innovative roof which manages to prevent the seats and dashboard from heating.
After the official photos from Death Valley, where the model received a thick layer of camouflage, the official commercial for the German model has been leaked on the Internet but shortly after this mistake, the video has been deleted. Few days later someone re-uploaded the video, a pretty long video of about 9 minutes where the next-generation Mercedes-Benz SLK could be seen from all the angles.
This time, we have another opportunity to admire the new German model, the patents recently submitted being available now. The new Mercedes SLK is expected to debut soon, probably at Detroit, and if not, the Geneva Motor Show will be the best place to unveil the new German supercar, a model that reaches now the third generation.
