The French people from Renault decided to release new photos and details on the 2012 Scenic MPV but also on its seven-seat Grand Scenic brother.
Under the bonnet, the French car maker provides a new 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine offering 115 horsepower and 190 Nm of torque along a 1.5-liter diesel unit producing 110 horses and 260 Nm of torque.
The diesel engine is also able to return an impressive fuel economy of 4,1 liters/100 km (57,4mpg US). Besides the new engines offered by Renault, the customers will be able to opt for a more powerful 2.0-liter engine capable to develop 140 horsepower but also the dCi 160 version fitted with a 2.0-liter engine producing 160 horsepower.
If the most powerful petrol engine is coupled to a CVT transmission, the dCi 160 diesel model gets a standard six-speed manual gearbox. This is not the first time when we talk about the revised French models called Scenic and Grand Scenic Collection 2012.
However, this time we get a larger photo gallery which reveals all the important aesthetic features of the models, both at the interior and exterior.
