The Japanese manufacturer finally decided to reveal the MPV version of the current generation Prius. The new Prius V is available with the same hybrid powertrain but it is slightly larger measuring 4,62m lenght, 1,78 wide and a wheelbase pf 2,78m. The fuel consumption announced by Toyota is 5,6 liters/100 km.
At the exterior the model brings 16-inch alloy wheels but you can opt also for larger 17-inch rims. Under the bonnet we find the same electric engine able to provide 80 horsepower while the 1.8-liter petrol engine delivers 98 horsepower.
The same HSD platform has been used for the MPV version of Toyota Prius, the Prius V entering the market next year. As optionals you can choose from LED lights, Parking Guidance System, Panoramic roof and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. Inside, as we earlier found from a teaser, the space has been increased by 50%, a fact which helps the Japanese MPV to reach its purpose of family car.
