The German folks from Volkswagen presented the R-Line package for the 2012 Tiguan, an SUV model which recently received a facelift treatment. The new R-Line package is able to refresh the interior and exterior appearance by adding new parts and components.

To be more precise, the exterior appearance is improved by a new set of 19-inch alloy wheels fitted with 255/40 tires but also new front and rear bumpers. Other tweaks include a new rear diffuser in a black finish, R-Line logos and a pair of aluminum door sill plates.
The exterior improvements are priced at €2,460 and can be ordered with only few specific body colors such as Night Blue , Pepper Grey, Deep Black and Candy White. Entering the cabin, the Germans from Volkswagen offer new leather upholstery, sport seats, a steering wheel wrapped in leather, R-Line logos and aluminum pedals.

You can get these upgrades at a price of €840 while the optional leather seats raise the price to €2,120. The exterior and interior packages are based on the “Sport & Style” trim level. For now, Volkswagen has no plans to offer the new R-Line models in the U.S. but you never know when they will change their mind.
