Buick released official pricing figures for the new Encore SUV, a model which will go on sale in the U.S. in the first quarter of the next year.
North American buyers will be able to order the new Encore with a 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine capable to deliver 138 horsepower and 200Nm of torque.
The new Buick model comes in four different variants starting with the base model which includes 18-inch alloy wheels, IntelliLink connectivity and a rearview camera.
The 2013 Buick Encore starts at $24,950 while the range-topping model called Premium Group is priced from $28,940. The latter comes with several features such as a seven-speaker Bose audio system, a navigation system, sunroof and rain-sensing windshield wipers.
“Encore will be the most fuel-efficient crossover produced by a domestic automaker, with an EPA-estimated 25 mpg city and 33 mpg highway for front-drive models,” says Buick.
If you want to benefit from the all-wheel drive system, you have to add an extra $1,500 to the price.
