The Italians from Ferrari released the first photos of the revised California, a model which is set to debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show next month. The hardtop roadster model is powered by a 4.3-liter V8 engine able to produce 490 horsepower and 505 Nm of torque (373 lb-ft).
Ferrari also announced that they managed to cut the total mass by 30 kilograms which helps the model to achieve better performance.
The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is now possible in 3,8 seconds while the top speed is most probably limited at around 250 km/h.
“The Geneva Motor Show will see the official debut of the new version of the Ferrari California, production of which has already commenced, with a reduction of weight of 30 kg and an increase in power output of 30 CV,” says Ferrari.
A new Handling Speciale package is available as well for the new Ferrari California. The special kit comes with stiffer springs, a revised steering system able to provide a better steering ratio but also Magnetorheological dampers. More details and photos to be available after the world premiere at Geneva.
