Fiat pulls the wraps off the new 500S, a model designed for the European market which is expected to go on sale early next year.
Based on the well-known 500 model, the Italian model comes with few styling tweaks such as revised bumpers, new alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, side skirts, tinted windows and additional chrome inserts.
Entering the cabin you will find a matte silver trim, sport seats, red stitching and a new gear knob. According to Fiat, the new 500S will benefit from the same engine range available on the standard model.
However, Fiat wanted to mention that the buyers won’t be able to order the new 500S with a more powerful unit from the Abarth range.
In conclusion, the new Fiat 500S is the perfect alternative for the customers looking forward for a sportier 500 but not willing to pay the extra bucks for an Abarth variant. Official pricing details will be released by the Italian carmaker soon.
