The Americans from Ford decided to reveal the production variant of the EcoSport Concept presented at the beginning of this year.
The new Ford EcoSport is a small crossover which will be produced in South America, China, India and also Thailand.
Under the bonnet, power comes from a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged unit delivering 118 horsepower and 125 lb-ft of torque.
In the photos we can see the range-topping EcoSport Titanium featuring a chrome grille, 16-inch alloy wheels, Ford SYNC infotainment system and more.
“Customers around the world immediately recognise its capability and SUV robustness that is achieved with aggressiveness. It is friendly and it’s a vehicle that really makes you smile,” said Ford.
At the same China Auto Show, Ford said that the new EcoSport crossover will arrive in about 100 markets worldwide but they said nothing about the U.S. debut. Pricing and availability details will be released soon by the American car maker.
