Ford released photos and details on the F-Series Super Duty Platinum, a special range which will be available only for the F-250, F-350 and F-450 models.
Under the bonnet we will find a 6.7 Power Stroke diesel unit capable to deliver 400hp and 1083 Nm of torque while a 6.2-liter V8 petrol with 385hp and 548 Nm of torque is available as well.
The main features of the Platinum models include 20-inh aluminum wheels, new bumpers in body color and chrome elements.
At the interior, Ford provides USB connectivity, MyFord Touch infotainment system, GPS navigation, power-adjustable pedals and more. The comfort is also increased thanks to the new leather upholstery, faux wood trim and heated steering wheel.
“Ford F-Series Super Duty customers demand a truck with toughness and capability, yet they still appreciate the amenities that make their driving experience more enjoyable,” adds the American car maker.
We don’t know the starting price of the new F-Series Super Duty Platinum models but we do know that they will go on sale later this year.
