Folks at Jaguar decided to release details on the all-wheel drive versions of the 2013 model year XF and XJ sedans.
The models in question were revealed few weeks ago, but this time, we are announced that they will be equipped with a four-wheel drive system.
There are two engine choices including a 2.0-liter four-cylinder 237 horsepower and a more powerful V6 developing 335 horses.
The latter is available on both XF and XJ models and is the only one which gets the AWD system. Power arrives to the wheels via an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission.
The new Jaguar XF and XJ saloons with the four-wheel drive system will arrive in certain markets such as Europe, North American, China and Russia.
“The system delivers all the traction benefits you would expect, but the AWD XF and XJ are still very rewarding cars to drive – which was exactly our intention,” says the company.
Jaguar released U.S. pricing on the V6-powered AWD XF which starts at $53,000 while its bigger brother it’s priced from $76,700.
