The well-known British SUV which reached its fourth generation is finally revealed today by Land Rover after its world premiere at a special event in London.
The new Range Rover promises better performance thanks to lower total mass and more powerful engines. Under the hood we will find a 5.0-liter V8 developing 503 horsepower, a 3.0-liter 255hp diesel unit and a more powerful 4.4-liter SDV8 with 334 horses.
If you are looking forward to obtain a good fuel economy, the entry-level V6 diesel engine promises a consumption of 7,5 liters/100km with CO2 emissions of 196 g/km.
No matter what is your choice in terms of engines, the British company pairs the units with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Starting next year, the 2013 Range Rover will benefit from a diesel-electric hybrid version packing a 3.0-liter V6 unit and an electric motor.
