Renault introduces the new Symbol sedan, a model which is almost similar to the new Dacia Logan will be seen the public for the first time tomorrow at the Istanbul Motor Show.
As mentioned above, the new Symbol is basically a Renault-badge Logan meant to be sold in certain regions where the Romanian model won’t be marketed. Styling features include similar optical blocks compared to the Dacia Logan but however, there is a revised hood and front grille.
Under the bonnet, Renault will pack an entry-level 0.9-liter three-cylinder engine capable to deliver 89hp and a fuel economy of 5,3 liters/100 km.
Other options will include two dCi diesels with power outputs ranging from 75hp to 90hp. These are the most frugal engines being capable to offer a fuel consumption of just 3,9 liters/100km with CO2 emissions of 103g/km.
First markets to get the new Renault Symbol will be Turkey, Algeria and Tunisia starting 2013.
