Skoda pulled the wraps of the third-generation Octavia sedan, a model which is going to debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March. Sharing the MQB platform of VW Group, the new Skoda Octavia is 4,6 meters long, 1,8 meters wide and rides a wheelbase of 2,6 meters.
At the exterior, there’s a clear evolution in terms of design comparing to the previous generations, these improvements including a new front grille, reshaped optical blocks, new alloy wheels, side mirrors and rear end.
Under the hood, the new Skoda Octavia will benefit from an entry-level 1.4-liter TSI offering 120 horses, a more powerful 1.8-liter petrol unit delivering 177 horsepower but also a 1.6-liter TDI with 109 horsepower and a fuel economy of 3,4lt/100km.
The Czech company will offer new features such as a panoramic sunroof, Adaptive Cruise Assistant and a new Intelligent Light Assistant, a system able to switch between the high and low beam automatically.
More photos, details and pricing info will be released early next year at Geneva.
