Jeep released photos and details on the new Compass, the facelifted SUV which arrives in the UK this month. At the exterior, the American model comes with some improvements such as the revised bumpers, optical blocks and front grille.
However, the most notable features of the new model are the new North trim level alongside a 2.4-liter petrol engine. The base model starts at £17,465 and benefits from a 2.0-liter petrol unit producing 154 horsepower and 190Nm of torque.
More power is offered by the 2.4-liter 168-horsepower unit coupled to a new six-speed automatic transmission.
On the other hand, a frugal 2.2-liter turbo diesel with 161 horsepower and 320Nm of torque is offered as well. The new North trim level slots between the base Sport and the range-topping Limited grade.
It starts from £19,995 and brings rear view auto dim mirror, leather-wrapped steering wheel, USB and Bluetooth connectivity and side airbags.
