The Japanese folks at Lexus released new details on the 2014 IS F, a model which will hit the U.S. market quite soon. Priced from $63,350, the new sporty model benefits from a 5.0-liter V8 powerplant engine producing 416 horsepower and 502Nm of torque.
When linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission, the 0-100 km/h sprint is possible in 4,6 seconds while the top speed is limited by the carmaker at 273 km/h.
At the exterior, the new model stands out thanks to the new carbon fiber rear spoiler, LED fog lights, new alloy wheels and revised optical blocks. Inside, buyers will benefit from Alcantara trim, black leather seats, F logos on the headrests and a revise center console.
“The Lexus IS F combines blistering acceleration with brilliantly controlled chassis performance, yielding a highly satisfying machine for driving enthusiasts of all skill levels,” adds the company.
As mentioned above, the model will go on sale towards the end of this year.
