Maserati introduces the all-new Quattroporte ahead its official debut at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show, an event which will open its gates in January.
The sixth generation of the Italian model benefits from a refresh exterior design while, at the interior, Maserati provides high-quality materials and new trim.
The new Maserati Quattroporte is longer at 5,2 meters but also lighter with a curb weight of 1940 kilograms. Even the company decided to keep the mystery on the power plant, we know that under the bonnet we will find a 4.7-liter V8 engine from Ferrari.
It will be linked to a ZF automatic transmission but the details are limited for now.
“Maserati stands today at the edge of an unparalleled strategic and industrial growth that will see our presence in the world rise to 50,000 units a year by 2015,” says the company.
The entry-level Maserati Quattroporte will receive a price tag of approximately £80,000 while the range-topping variant will cost more than £120,000.
