The Ford North American based carmaker has recently announced the arrival of the 2015 Ford Focus in Romania, with the model hoping to regain control over the South – East European market.
The 2015 Ford Focus model is coming with an interesting array of engines, starting with the 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine, which is mainly developed in Romania, and finishing with some important diesel burners.
First off, the 1.0-liter EcoBoost will produce between 100 horsepower and 125 horsepower, hooked to a five- or six-speed manual transmission, with prices to start from 16,450 euros.
The higher 1.5-liter EcoBoost, with 150 horsepower and 190 horsepower, will be offered with a six-speed automatic transmission.
The 2.0-liter TDCI, with 150 horsepower and a six-speed manual gearbox will set you back at 22,700 euros. This model will come in three trims, the sedan, the 5-door Titanium hatchback and the wagon, adding some nice cool features, like DPF Start-Stop Powershift.
With this particular model, the Ford carmaker is trying to get its European market share, after successfully building the B-Max minivan in Romania and providing the 1.0-liter unit to the entire market.
