2015 Jaguar XE Gets Priced in Australia, Base Entry-Level Starts at 60,400 AUD

Jaguar is sending the 2015 XE model in Australia, where the cheapest version will set you back at just 60,400. We are talking about the base entry-level 20t Prestige.

Apart the Jaguar 20t, the Prestige will follow with the 20d, set at 62,800 AUD, as well as the 25t, costing 64,900 AUD. Next in kin, the R-Sport version, will come with the 20t trim at 65,400 AUD, the 20d available from 66,800 AUD, as well as the the 25t, which will cost 68,900 AUD. Finally, the Portfolio 25t will be set at 70,400 AUD, while the top of the line S V6 will be priced at 104,200 AUD.

In terms of safety gizmos, all three versions will come with the front and rear parking sensors with the rear camera, the tire pressure monitoring, lane departure warning, bi-function HID Xenon automatic headlights, the keyless start/stop and a few more, while the interior will also benefit the Taurus leather on the seats, dual-zone climate, the 380 W Meridian sound system and few more.

In the engine department, the 2015 Jaguar XE will receive the 2.0-liter petrol burner, with 147 kW and 280 Nm of torque, followed by the 25t with the same engine, developing 177 kW and 340 Nm of torque. Next, the 20d will get the 2.0-liter turbo diesel, with 132 kW and 430 Nm of torque.

The top of the line V6, will get the 3.0-liter supercharged engine, with 250 kW and 450 Nm of torque, all of them being hooked to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
