The fourth-gen 2015 Seat Ibiza was first unveiled a couple of months ago, but the Spanish based carmaker is making a come-back with an impressive photo gallery and a few more details about the model.
We are dealing here with a facelift version of the current model, with some slight changes in terms of visuals. We might depict the standard bi-xenon headlights, LED DRLs, LED rear lights, high-gloss black side mirrors, matte-back diffuser with trapezoidal tailpipe, all complemented by the 17-inch alloy wheels.
The cabin is fully tweaked with the latest technological advancements, like the updated infotainment system with MirrorLink, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Seat DriveApp, ”text to speech” system, ”where is my car” function and so on.
In terms of safety systems, the 2015 Seat Ibiza Cupra facelift comes equipped with the updated ESP, multi-collision brake, hill-stars assist, tire pressure warning, and so on.
In the engine department, the facelift version is packing the same engine also found on the VW Polo GTI. It is all about the 1.8-liter TSI four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, with 192 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque, hooked to a six-speed manual gearbox. The car thus sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds, at a topping of 235 km/h.
