2015 Tokyo Motor Show: Mazda RX-VISION Concept Unveiled with a SKYACTIV Rotary Mill

The Japanese engineers from Mazda have presented their latest creation at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, the all-new RX-VISION Concept, which comes with a SKYACTIV rotary powertrain under the hood.

The Mazda carmaker has not yet revealed any details concerning the performance figures of the RX-VISON, but representatives from Mazda have stated that they are still thinking of the kind of configuration that would fit under the skin.

On the other hand, Masamichi Kogai, CEO at Mazda have also mentioned that “Mazda will continue to take on new challenges in an effort to build a special bond with our customers and become their ‘one and only’ brand.”

In terms of styling, the Mazda RX-VISION Concept is coming with the carmaker`s famous KODO design, sporting an aggressive front fascia with a standout grille, new front lip spoiler, ventilated hood, front fender vents, rear diffuser, rakish windscreen as well as a dual exhaust system. The overall body style is complemented by the massive wheels.

Inside, the cabin is coming with a minimalist design with a leather-wrapped dashboard, three-bespoke steering wheel, bespoke instrument cluster, alloy pedals as well as carbon fiber trim. More details will be announced later on!
