The second-gen Audi R8 has been spied again in shots, this time the sportscar coming with some details about its interior too.
The spy shots are a confirmation that the new Audi R8, based on the same platform as the new Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4, is coming big style, with wider and also flatter lights at both ends, joined together by a hexagonal grille up front.
The wider and the longer platform will make the 2016 Audi R8 more spacious inside, with a much more improved ride comfort as well.
Also inside, the 2016 Audi R8 is tweaked with technological features, like the fresh 12.3-inch digital cluster, that are also seen on the Huracan and the new-gen TT.
With the platform of the 2016 Audi R8 being lighter than the present model, there is likely for the sportscar to bear an upgraded version of the naturally aspirated V8 and V10 engines.
Thus, the 4.2-liter V8 and the 5.2-liter V10 will make their way onto the platform of the 2016 Audi R8, the car also being offered with a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission, instead of the standard manual one.
