View

Like any other serious carmaker, Kia has come to the 2016 Geneva Motor Show fully packed with its newest models, one of them being the Europe-spec all-new Optima Sportswagon.

The model is based on the 2015 Sportspace Concept and marks the carmaker`s debut on the D-segment, coming with an evolutionary design and an interesting choice of engines under the hood.

Performance wise, the Kia Optima Sportswagon is equipped with two gasoline burners, the 2.0-liter CVVL with 163 horsepower, followed by a T-GDI turbocharged gasoline direct injection with 242 horsepower. The 1.7-liter turbodiesel is also joining the club with 139 horsepower.

Moving inside, the new model features the carmaker`s updated audio-visual navigation with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with multiple applications, music streaming, voice control and much more.

Since we are dealing with a sports wagon, the new Kia comes with plenty of space inside, thanks to the 40:20:40 split-folding rear seats, along with outdoor equipment, safety barrier net at the back of the rear seats, flat boot lip, Smart Power Tailgate or pop-up sliding luggage rails.

Below, you can appreciate the massive photo gallery with the model being showcased at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, enjoy the view and don’t forget to share your opinions on the new car!
