The 2016 Jaguar XF has been just unveiled at the 2015 New York Auto Show and the carmaker has already launched the available prices for the United Kingdom market, where the cheapest version will cost 32,300 GBP, once it will reach its dealership in the fourth quarter of 2015.
For the base 32,300 GBP, you will get a 2.0-liter Ingenium diesel unit, which will produce 161 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque, hooked to a six-speed manual transmission. In case you want the eight-speed automatic, than you will have to pay an extra 1,750 GBP.
Apart from the 2.0-liter, there are other engines to choose from, like the 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel, with 295 horsepower, for which you wil have to pay 49,950 GBP. With the same money, you can also have the 3.0-liter V6 supercharged engine, taken from the XE little sibling.
Apart from the impressive powertrains, the 2016 Jaguar XF is also fully tweaked inside. The model Jaguar XF will be now available with a new InControl Touch infotainment system, or the 12.3-inch TFT instrument cluster, the electric power steering, the fresh and updated Surface Progress Control system a lots more.
Also thanks to this new platform and lightweight materials used, the 2016 Jaguar XF will also shed some weight, meaning 132 lbs for the rear-wheel drive version while the all-wheel drive will weigh less with 265 lbs. And of course, this means that more space has been now added inside, along with the latest technology systems in terms of safety.
With all these extraordinary features, the 2016 Jaguar XF is strong enough to take on its main predators, like the BMW 5-Series, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Cadillac CTS, or the Audi A6.
