The all-new Kia Sportage seems to get leaked just before the offcial debut this week. The South Korean model is slated to hit the Frankfurt Motor Show this fall with a first reveal later this week. Even so, we get our hands on a set of official leaked images that let us get a closer look at the new crossover. In terms of styling, we see revised bumpers, new wheels, tweaked optical blocks and a reworked front grille.
There are also the new fog lights, roof metal bars and a redesigned tailgate. If the exterior design is pretty easy to judge from these images, we also get some info on the power options.
Expect to see a new 1.6-liter petrol unit with 135 horses as well as a more powerful 176 hp variant. If you want more fuel economy and a better torque response, there are new CRDi engines with the 2.0-liter one in the spotlight.
It manages to offer both 136 hp and 184 hp, depending on your personal taste. A smaller 1.7-liter with 115 horsepower is also on the list while a six-speed manual transmission is standard. More money will get you an automatic version of this gearbox while a range-topping seven-speed dual clutch one is for those of you are into spending. Keep a close eye on our blog for more details on the 2016 Kia Sportage.
