Mazda MX-5 is looking great and it would have been a pity if the model had not made its way in the United States. But the good news is here, as the 2016 MX-5 will arrive overseas this summer, at the base price of $25,940.
The 2016 Mazda MX-5 will come in three trims, the Sport, the Club as well as the Gran Touring, each one tweaking a lot of interesting features and powertrain under the hood. Unfortunately, the detailed specifications list with the model is rather scarce at the moment.
But what we do know, is that the 2016 Mazda MX-5 will sport some great gizmos inside, meaning that you will get to see Bluetooth connectivity, USB, the gear knob now wrapped in leather, power door locks and a few more in the Sport trim.
More than that, since we are looking here at a lightweight model, the 2016 MX-5 will be more powerful than the previous one. Shedding off around 70 km, this would be perfect for the worthy performance of the 2.0-liter SKYACTIV unit, now churning out a good 155 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque. No performance figures or pricing details have been yet revealed, but we should find out more this summer, when the model will be available at the U.S. dealerships.
