We have good news for Mercedes enthusiasts in Germany as the carmaker officially announced that the new C-Class Coupe is available for order.
The base diesel model, known as the C 220 d, packs a 2.2-liter engine producing 170 horsepower and is linked to a six-speed manual transmission. Average fuel economy figures are rated at 4,1 liters/100 k with CO2 emissions of 106 g/km. This version kicks off at €39,567 with VAT included.
Get the more powerful C 250 d variant which packs the same engine but comes with 204 hp and a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission and a €45,041 price tag.
On the other hand, there are four petrol versions, the C 180 with a 1.6-liter 156 hp engine and three 2.0-liter versions with output from 184 hp to 245 hp. Pricing also varies from €35,581 to €44,803. If you want to go all in, there’s the Mercedes-AMG C 63 which packs a 4.0-liter 476hp powerplant while the more potent S version has 510 horsepower. The latter costs €86,095 and is the most expensive C-Class Coupe you can get.
In terms of styling, the 2016 Mercedes C-Class Coupe has new front and rear bumpers, a revised grille and 17-inch alloy wheels. Interior features include piano black inserts, stainless steel door inserts, dual-zone climate control and a sports steering wheel. A revised infotainment system is also available in standard configuration.
