2016 NAIAS: Hyundai Genesis G90 Revealed

View

The Hyundai Genesis G90 has recently debuted at the 2016 NAIAS, in Detroit, the most luxurious flagship from the South Korean car manufacturer making an extremely good impression.

We are dealing here with a high-end model that is capable to compete against other flagships from the market, like the recently unveiled 2016 BMW 7-Series or the all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Well, from what I stand, the G09 can be considered the cheaper replica of the S-Class, but a real good replica.

As we already know, the model is extravagant in terms of design, coming with an elegant look, thanks to the prominent hood and the flowing lines along the wheelbase, eventually reaching the stand-out rear deck surfacing. Let`s not forget the latest full-LED headlights with the distinctive Daytime Running Lights, which visibly improve the car`s high-end attitude.

The cabin is also distinctive, the interior boasting with the latest high-end materials and the top high-tech gizmos. We can depict the 12.3 luxurious high-definition display, Lexicon Premium Sound System with QuantomLogic Surround sound, the 22-way electronically-controlled power driver`s seat with power bolsters, shoulder adjustments and cushion extension, while at the rear, the seats are electronically-adjustable in 12 ways. And the features keep on going.

In the engine department, the Hyundai Genesis G90 is also leaving a good impression with its array of engines. The model packs two petrol burners: the 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 with 365 horsepower, as well as a higher 5.0-liter V8, with 420 horsepower and 509 Nm of torque.

The Genesis G90 is fully packed with the latest safety features, which make it the perfect ride on any given weather conditions. We are dealing here with the Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Smart Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross-traffic Allert, Lane Keep Assist, Driver Attention Alert, Dynamic Bending Light headlights with High Beam Assist and much more.
