Spy photographers from Motor1.com have recently caught on shots the all-new 2016 Opel Astra GSI, the model finalizing its tests before the official debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
As already rumored, the 2016 Opel Astra GSI would come with a new 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder unit, with a good 250 horsepower, which would set it aside the present Astra and make it closer to the new Astra OPC. The full performance figures will be announced next March, in Geneva.
As we can depict from the spy shots, the 2016 Opel Astra GSI would come with a new silver front bumper, along with updated grille, dual exhaust system and a few more.
Inside, the cabin of the new 2016 Opel Astra GSI will also look fresh and sporty, with the sport seats and steering wheel, new gear knob, sporty accents and so on.
Once it will be released on the market next year, the 2016 Opel Astra GSI will compete against the Volkswagen GTI and Ford Focus ST, which have also prepared a set of new goodies in terms of design and performance under the hood.
