View

Chevrolet is playing hard to get with the plethora of high-end models and concepts unveiled at the opening of the 2016 SEMA show. Amongst the top notches present in Las Vegas, is also the long-rumored and previewed Silverado 1500 High Desert.

The model is looking extremely appealing with the new exterior features and updated mechanics, not to mention the powerful engine under the hood, even if, for some, the torque might be of a dissapointment.

To start with the exterior, the all-new Silverado 1500 High Desert is a real killer with the Slate Blue body wrap with bronze trim, CHEVROLET grille insert, custom front and rear bumpers, high-performance air intake and painted engine cover, and a few more.

The exterior colour and new aero kit is complemented with the new 20- and 22-inch alloy wheels, depending on the choice. Inside, the cabin is also updated with a lot of hig-end features. The most important ones refer to the High Desert with Cocoa leather seat inserts, brown accent stitching, embroidered headrests, wireless charging, heated steering wheel, heated and vented front seats, Chevrolet MyLink with the eight-inch diagonal colour touchscreen, navigation and so on.

In terms of mechanics, the new Silverado 1500 High Desert is equipped with performance brake kit, exhaust system, lockable and water-resistant cargo system, Magnetic Ride Control suspension or roll-formed and high-strength steel bed.

In the engine department, the gorgeous 1500 High Desert packs the same 6.2-liter V8 engine, the same found on the Camaro SS Slammer, developing 420 horsepower and 460 lb.ft of torque. You can find out more in the media gallery revealed below!
