SsangYong has recently launched the 2016 Rexton flagship SUV in the United Kingdom, the model adding a new engine to the lineup. The carmaker has also revealed the full price with the SUV.
The 2016 SsangYoung Rexton SUV has received the new 2.2-liter e-XDi220 diesel, which replaces the old 2.0-liter, producing 178 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. The engine is hooked to a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic, both borrowed from Mercedes-Benz.
The engine is Euro 6 compliant and comes with a CO2 emissions of 185 g/km, quite significant from the previous 196 g/km.

In terms of visuals, the 2016 SsangYong Rexton is coming with LED DRLs, front and rear parking, 18-inch Diamond cut rims, while the cabin is tweaked with beige/grey leather interior, leather steering wheel with multi-functions, satellite navigation, heated rear seats and more.
