2016 Volkswagen Tiguan 7-Seater Rendered Online

View

The 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan was recently unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show and the model is back into the spotlights with a rendering which is showcasing the model with a 7-seater body style.

The rendering is signed by RMCar Design is giving us a closer look on how the 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan would look like with three rows of seats.

The rendering is showcasing the 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan 7-seater with a longer chassis, new bumpers at the front and rear, a less prominent sloping roofline and new taillights. Surely that this is just a simple rendering and for the moment, I don’t think that the German carmaker is planning such a version.

As a reminder, the 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan popping-up in Frankfurt, is based on the Cross Coupe GTE, coming with wider space than the previous generation, while the cargo capacity has also been increased to a total of 615 liters.

Under the hood, the 2016 Volkswagen is packing a very interesting lineup which meets the Euro 6 regulations. We are dealing here with four TSI petrol units, with power ranging between 125 horsepower and 220 horsepower, along with other four TDI diesels, with power between 115 horsepower and 240 horsepower. We should also see a FWD and an optional 4MOTION AWD.
