Audi has been recently spied testing out the upcoming 2017 A5 Coupe, which will eventually be released on the market in 2016, along with its sibling, the A5 Sportback.
The news of a future launch of the 2017 Audi A5 Coupe and A5 Sportback has been kept secret so far, but according to an interview that IndianAutosBlog has had at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show with former Audi CEO Ulrich Hackenberg, the carmaker was indeed preparing the A5 Coupe and the Sportback.
Since we have little or no information concerning the exterior and the interior that both models will be coming with, there are some insights with the engine lineup of the 2017 Audi A5 Coupe and Sportback. The engine lineup compresses two petrol engines and two diesels.
The petrol mils start with the 2.0 TFSI engine, with two power configurations: 190 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque, as well as 252 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque. Next would be a 3.0-liter TFSI, with 354 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque.
The diesels refer to the 2.0-liter TDI, with 150 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque, respectively 190 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, followed by the 3.0-liter TDI, with 218 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, respectively 272 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque.
