The hatchback segment is about to welcome a new and exciting model in the shape of the 2017 Citroen C3, which is visibly based on the C4 Cactus.
The model has been recently leaked out and there is no doubt whatsoever that it will be based on its older brother, the C4 Cactus, another hit model.
Even if we are dealing here with a small hatchback, the future 2017 C3 will be a well-proportioned model, being 3,990 mm long, 1,750 mm wide and 1,470 mm tall.
From a visual standpoint, the 2017 Citroen C3 will take its inspiration from the Peugeot 208, coming with a floating A-pillar, two-tone accents on the mirror caps, roof and fog-light surrounds. The tech gizmos will be rather the same ones seen on the C4.
Inside, the cabin will also share similarities with the C4 Cactus, meaning the same infotainment screen and textures, along with leather upholstery and other premium materials which will make it extremely comfy.
Performance wise, the 2017 Citroen C3 will come with wide range of petrol burners and diesels, including the 1.2-liter three-cylinder and the 1.6-liter turbo-diesel flat flour, hooked to manual and automatic transmissions.
Citroen is yet to release full details with its all-new 2017 C3, but we should expect fresh info in the upcoming period.
