View

With the 2017 Geneva Motor Show knocking at the door in a couple of weeks, the South Korean based carmaker Hyundai is preparing its most exciting model for the event, the all-new i30 Wagon, which was recently presented online ahead the event.

There have been a couple of previews of the model before, which highlighted its exquisite design and increase inside, making it perfect for family routines and daily outdoor activities.

Even if it shares the same platform with the regular i30, the Wagon variant is standing out from the crowd with a longer wheelbase of 2,650 mm, measuring as well 4,585 mm long and 1,795 mm wide. Overall, the cargo capacity stands 602 liters, with a total of 1,650 liters of space with the rear seats folded.

The car`s platform also allows the use of more lightweight materials, like high-strength steel, which makes the car more rigid and increases its steering capability with around 10 percent more than the ongoing model.

This automatically leads to more power and increase torque. In the engine department, the 2017 Hyundai i30 Wagon comes with a new 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbo engine, with 88 kW, available on some markets. In Europe, it will be offered as well with a 1.6-liter turbo-petrol, shortly followed by a 1.4-liter turbo with 103 kW.

The model is also extremely safety, as it comes with a plethora of systems, including lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert, driver attention alert, autonomous emergency braking and road sign recognition. Full details will be revealed in Geneva!
