We last saw the all-new 2017 Porsche Panamera four-sedan breaking a lap record at the Ring and receiving the title of the uncrown king with a 7:38 time lap, a German machinery worthy of supercar performance.
Now, Porsche fans overseas are glad to know that the carmaker has launched the online configurator for the all-new Panamera, with a plethora of features available at their discretion. And since we are dealing here with the carmaker`s latest flagship, we have to warn you that the choices don’t come cheap.
In the United States, the 2017 Porsche Panamera is available in two versions, the 4S entry-levels priced at $99,900 and the Turbo, which sets you back at $146,900. Each one comes with a hefty dosage of updates.
To start with the Panamera 4S, the version is available with standard options or optional features that can cost nearly up to $50,000. You can thus choose the Sport Chrono Package, which makes it 0.2 second faster from 0 to 100 km/h.
There are also features for which you are going to pay spicy prices, including ceramic composite brakes from $8,960, rear axle steering from $1,610 or sport exhaust system for a more acoustic engine sound available at $3,490.
On the other hand, the 2017 Panamera Turbo can also be customized with features costing nearly $60,000. This variant is also faster, managing a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, at a topping of 306 km/h.
As already rumored, the carmaker is already planning a hybrid version, which will use the powerful V8 biturbo and an electric motor to deliver an excess of 700 horsepower. The plug-in hybrid powertrain might be borrowed from the incredibly powerful Porsche 918 Hybrid.
