View

The Scout treatment is not new for Skoda, and following the success of the Octavia Scout, now we have the chance of seeing the gorgeous Kodiaq SUV receiving the same styling package.

As we can depict from the photos below, the all-new 2017 Skoda Kodiaq Scout officially announced recently, wears the overall design of the present SUV, yet adds some special body bits that separates it from the former.

The first thing that strikes our attention is the “Scout” logo on the front fenders, and even if some might think is rather too small to be noticed, it does add a certain flavor to the new edition. Other styling touches that makes it apart refer to the silver front and rear underbody protection, as well as the 19-inch alloys.

The Scout package is available for the mid-level Ambition, and comes as well with some new tweaks at the interior, besides the new safety features or the six available driving modes. We are dealing here with Alcantara upholstery, textile floor mats, ten-colour LED ambient lighting, as well as up-to-date infotainment system with eight speakers.

The 2017 Skoda Kodiaq Scout also features the Off-Road Assist as well as the Driving Mode Select system with six modes available – Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport, Individual and Snow, all of them linking the engine with the car`s advanced mechanics which ensures a safe driving on all weather conditions.

In the engine department, the all-new Kodiaq Scout SUV is available with the 1.4-liter TSI pot with 150 horsepower, allowing a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a good 9.8 seconds, achieved at a top speed of 197 km/h. The second most important mill is the 2.0-liter TSI with 180 horsepower, with a 100 km/h sprint done in 8.0 seconds, at 207 km/h. Finally, the diesels comprises a 2.0-liter TDI, is available with 150 horsepower and 190 horsepower, respectively, with a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.5 seconds / 8.9 seconds.
