2018 Audi RS4 Avant Is Getting Ready for Production Line

We have seen spy photos with the upcoming 2018 Audi RS4 countless times and as the tests progressed, so did the car`s body styling, up to a point where the final shape was finally revealed.

The latest spy shots come from motor1.com and are showcasing the model in its final body version, meaning that it is ready for an official debut at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. Reports also state that it would enter production line at the beginning of 2018.

As we can depict from the pictures, the 2018 Audi RS4 Avant is still wearing camouflage, but that didn’t stop us to take a closer look at the car`s body shape.

Once it will emerge on the market, the 208 Audi RS4 Avant would come with a fresh feel in terms of design, complemented by the new front fascia incorporating an updated grille and wider air intakes. Also, a tailgate-mounted spoiler will be added, along with two massive exhaust tips, high-performance breaks and lightweight wheels.

Changes are said occur to inside too, the cabin receiving some new tweaks, like the RS4 sport seats. As for the engine lineup, things are still not cleared yet.

However, according to recent speculations, the 2018 Audi RS 4 Avant would come with a 3.0-liter V6 engine with two electric turbochargers. We do not know the performance configuration, but the same speculations mention somewhere between 420 – 450 horsepower. The engine would be hooked to an eight-speed automatic transmission or a Quattro all-wheel drive layout. More details are expected later on.
