The news with the all-new Porsche Panamera hybrid are not fresh, the model popping-up in lots of reviews, tests and media galleries. Now, we have the confirmation that the model will arrive at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, with the carmaker already releasing the official prices.
Once it will arrive in dealerships at the end of 2017, the 2018 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid will come with an entry-price of $184,400, while the top of the line Turbo S E-Hybrid Executive will kick off at $194,800. Prices include the $1,050 destination fee.
The 2018 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is a complete car, with an extremely evolutionary design and the latest technology in terms of performance and interior.
The pride of the hybrid is the all-mighty 4.0-liter V8 engine paired to an electric motor, which makes it churn out a massive 680 horsepower and 626 lb-ft of torque. This allows an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, at a top speed of 192 km/h.
The entire powertrain sends the power to the wheels via a high-performance and quick-shifting eight-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) dual-clutch transmission, the model also coming with an active all-wheel drive system with Porsche Traction Management (PTM).
The entire system is put to work by a liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery with 14.1 kWh capacity, enough to deliver up an electric range of 50 km. The charging process also takes around three hours.
