The Volvo`s XC lineup is about to expand thanks to the upcoming 2018 XC60, which is set to arrive on the market on the second half of 2017, as a 2018 YM. Courtesy to Carscoops auto magazine, we now have a fresh batch of photos with the test mule.
Even if the 2018 XC60 test mule is fully camouflaged, a trained eye can get a glimpse on how the model will look like in the final version.
The model is set to come with “Thor`s Hammer” LED headlights, slender profile thanks to the slightly slope roof, which flows down the rear to add a much more prominent look. Another styling feature would be the lower window line, which would improve visibility all-round, making it look like the BMW X3.
The 2018 Volvo XC60 is also set to come with a lot of improvements as opposed to the current generation, which will make it even more appreciated and more famous.
The new goodies refer to the latest technology in terms of safety, adding fuel-efficiency as well as the semi-autonomous driving, which is a common things amongst Volvo latest models.
Speaking about fuel-efficiency, the rumor mill has it that the all-new XC60 might come with a T5 petrol engine, with 250 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, standing in line with other fresh diesels and a plug-in hybrid.
More details will be announced at a later date, meanwhile, enjoy the spy photos with the 2018 Volvo XC60!
