Come next month, the 2013 Audi RS5 cabriolet will be available for purchase on the US market. And should it be the car for you, be prepared to pay 77.900 dollars.
The Audi RS5 cabriolet has the same engine as the coupe version, a 4.2 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine. This power house will put under your foot 450hp and 430Nm torque.
Using a 7-speed double-clutch S-tronic gear box (that’s a mouthful) with launch control and all wheel drive, the Audi RS5 cabrio will reach 100km/h in just 4.9 seconds. With an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h, it will manage a fuel consumption of 15.7 liter/100km average. And that should keep you clear of the Gas Guzzler Tax.
The top will go down in 15 seconds and up in 17. And for an additional 6.000 dollars, you will have the option of purchasing a high performance breaking system, giving you front wheel ceramic brakes.
A dark side of the Audi RS5 cabriolet version is the added weight: close to 200kg.
