Trust me, this isn’t a joke on how Maserati’s cars sell sex and how they may be having “trouble” in that section. As a matter of fact this is real and it’s gotten me all jumped up (don’t read into that).
According to some of the latest reports the 2014 Maserati Quattroporte may actually be wearing a 2011 model year on it.
That won’t be like the 2011 model year Ford Mustang being available in 2010 but the car will actually be launched in 2011 under a 2011 model year so that’s three years off the wait.
I have no pictures, no information, no spec sheet, nothing on the news. Heck, the Italians didn’t even release a teaser for this but no matter, the “old” model of the Maserati Quattroporte is still a beautiful thing to behold.
The actual launch should come in the fall of 2011 so expect to see it at the Paris Motor Show of 2011 or something like that.
Either way, I’m starting to look over at the Porsche Panamera, the Jaguar XFR and the Aston Martin Rapide and I reckon I see some tremors over there.
For a 2011 release the pricing of the entry level version should be somewhere around 70.000 dollars.
