The Abarth 595 50th Anniversary Edition is a special model of the Italian carmaker which will be unveiled at Frankfurt. It is designed to celebrate 50 years since the original Abarth 595 debuted at the Turin Motor Show.
Limited to a total of 299 units, the new model comes with a special matte white exterior finish assorted with red stripes. A new set of 17-inch alloy wheels is also available as well as a sunroof and new xenon headlights.
Under the hood sits a 1.4-liter T-Jet powerplant offering 180 horsepower. Inside, buyers will benefit from a flat-bottom steering wheel, alloy pedals, sports seats, metallic trim and red stitching.
The ride is improved thanks to a new suspension system with better shock absorbers while a Brembo braking system ensures the optimal safety. Last but not least, a sports exhaust system completes the list of tweaks.
September 15th is the date when Abarth will start taking orders for the new 595 50th Anniversary Edition with pricing figures to be announced in the coming days.
